Does CartVigil need Magento Admin access?
No. CartVigil works from the public storefront and starts with only the store URL.
Will it place real orders?
No. The monitor stops after confirming that shipping and payment methods are available, before Place Order.
Does it store customer or payment data?
No. CartVigil does not need customer records and does not enter or store card details or payment credentials.
What if Cloudflare blocks it?
CartVigil reports the monitor as blocked rather than claiming checkout is down. You can allowlist the static monitoring IP.
Does it support Hyvä?
CartVigil is designed for Magento storefronts including common Luma and Hyvä patterns. Exact support depends on checkout customization, and unsupported flows are reported honestly.
Does it work with custom checkout?
Support depends on how the checkout is customized. CartVigil identifies unsupported flows instead of presenting an incomplete check as successful.
Can it test mobile?
Plan and browser profiles can run responsive mobile browser emulation. It is not a physical-device farm.
What happens when a test fails?
CartVigil confirms the result, classifies the failed step, and provides timing, profile, screenshot, and redacted technical evidence when available.
How are internal or agency test sites handled?
Authorized internal sites use the same monitoring pipeline but default to manual-only notifications, so they never send automatic incident email.
Can I cancel at any time?
The trial requires no card and does not silently convert to a paid plan. Paid monitoring can be cancelled according to the billing terms.
